Eko Pave is a low maintenance permeable paver that reduces rain run off and returns water back to the water table.
Eko Pave reduces flood risk.
On traditional hardstand areas during heavy rain events, water builds up, pools and overwhelms storm water systems leading to local flooding and damage to infrastructure. With Eko Pave, water is absorbed so that there is minimal run off or pooling of water. Water can also be collected beneath the Eko Pave by using underground collection tanks such as Cellutank.
Eko Pave has a slip resistant value of R13 which has been verified by the CSIRO and the MSDS data sheets are available here.

Eko Pave is made from natural sand that is sourced from sustainable sources and bound together with polymers which allow water to pass through the matrix.
The manufacturing process is low in carbon emissions as high temperature baking is not required therefore less energy is used. No residual pollution is produced and the product is recyclable. The factory is also ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified.
Installation is easy and familiar. The sub base is graded gravel or permeable concrete. The leveling layers are sand. Gaps can be filled with sand of a similar colouring.
Clogging has been a problem associated with other permeable pavers, however the Eko Pave has no such issues. The tiny pores, which are smaller than most particles in storm water, make it a durable and permeable surface.
The water permeability coefficient is 0.2 – 0.68 mm/s
